Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not install the app.

2. The service

customDTF provides software that lets your customers design, size, or upload DTF gang sheets on your Shopify storefront, and that generates print-ready output files for your orders. We provide software only — we do not print, ship, or fulfil anything, and we are not party to the transactions between you and your customers.

3. Fees

• The app is free to install and carries no monthly subscription.
• Your first 10 gang sheets carry no commission.
• After that, we charge 4% of gang-sheet product sales per order, excluding shipping, taxes, and tips, capped at $500 per 30-day billing cycle.
• All charges are processed through Shopify’s billing API, which you approve inside the app, and appear on your Shopify invoice. We do not collect or store payment card details.

We may change fees for future billing cycles with reasonable prior notice. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance; if you disagree, uninstall before it applies.

4. Your responsibilities

• Content and rights. You are responsible for the artwork processed through your store, including artwork your customers upload. You must not use the app to reproduce material you do not have the right to print, and you are responsible for handling infringement complaints from rights holders.
• Configuration. Your pricing, printer width, and product settings are yours. We are not liable for losses caused by pricing you configured incorrectly.
• Legal compliance. You are responsible for your own tax, consumer-protection, and labelling obligations toward your customers.
• Acceptable use. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or circumvent the metering of the app, and do not use it to process unlawful content.

5. Setup assistance

If you request our free done-for-you setup, you grant us Shopify collaborator access voluntarily and may revoke it at any time. We will use that access only to install and configure the app as described on the setup page. We will not place orders, alter unrelated settings, or access data beyond what the setup requires.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, Shopify platform incidents, and third-party API outages can affect the app. We are not liable for downtime outside our reasonable control.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the app and its underlying software. You retain all rights in your store content, your customers’ artwork, and the print files generated for your orders. Nothing here transfers ownership of your artwork to us.

8. Termination

You may uninstall at any time; uninstalling stops future commission. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, if required by Shopify or by law, or if your use poses a security risk. Fees already incurred remain payable.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or wasted film or materials. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, and disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
